Tweed is out of our Tess and imported ISDS semen.  We kept Tweed primarily because as a young pup he had something about him that we couldn’t quite put a finger on.  One of the pups in the litter sat in the sac for a bit longer than average before we rubbed them back to life.  We couldn’t him an hour later as he thrived from the getgo and there were 3 fairly identical pups in the litter.  As a result of this delayed exit Tweed could be described as being a bit simple in comparison to his litter mates.

He has a very fun attitude to life, thrives on a hill and loves nothing more than unfettered running.  He is not suitable for working stock, although he has a strong eye, nice natural style and can do small bits, his learning difficulties would make it near impossible to train sides or any consistent approach to his work.  When Tweed eyes he is rarely on target but more behind or to the rear.  We had his eyes examined by a Ophthalmologist but his eyes are perfectly normal which lends into suggestions of oxygen deprivation, but that’s all good as he is a super fun and loving dog to have around.

Tweed has an interesting quality to him that I absolutely love which is a form of mental resilience. He will do most anything, go most anywhere if I ask him to and solely because I ask him to.  He does not show fear of anything as long as Jason and I are along for the ride. You could walk him into a war zone and he wouldn’t flick an eye.

Tweed will be neutered at an appropriate age and will not be available for stud services.
